Fortium will be presenting at BVE, the UK’s leading Entertainment and Media Tech event on 28th February

CEO Mathew Gilliat-Smith will be at BVE 2017 to discuss how encrypting your files at-rest during the post-production stage means content, be it data, video, or audio, is only accessible to authorized parties. As leaks are in many cases unintentional, you are protecting your own colleagues by encrypting the files, as well as protecting the project being worked on from a financial perspective. Mathew finishes by explaining new ways that his company is preparing to make this whole process even easier than it is today, for those in the wider media family and supply chain, to use encryption at-rest technology for files and folders.

The presentation will take place at 1.45pm and lasts until 2.15pm, with a short Q and A session, at the Connected Media Europe Seminar Theatre.

Mathew will also be taking part in a panel debate earlier in the day at 12pm, entitled: “From the camera to the consumer - understanding how we can secure content in the world of OTT”.

BVE is the UK’s leading Entertainment and Media Tech event, with a 20-year history dedicated to the broadcast, production and post-production sectors. In recent years, the show has evolved into an all-encompassing event that also covers the Connected Media, AV Systems Integration, Live Production, VR and creative sector.

Mathew Gilliat-Smith will be holding a talk entitled: "Content leaks cause both financial and reputational damage for the industry – how do you stop them?"
