Fortium recently attended the NAB Show 2017 in Las Vegas, where our CEO Mathew Gilliat-Smith was asked to speak to the people at Connected Media IP about security in the TV and Film Industry.
One of the key takeouts from this year's show was that content can be accidentally shared in busy workflow environments; it's not just hackers gaining hold of sensitive material before release that should worry studios.
To combat these worries, Fortium announced it's Live Folders solution for MediaSeal, that allows users to encrypt content on-the-fly. You can export or save a file to LiveFolder, that auto-encrypts the content with a pre-determined policy: either password only, or set for a group of authorized users.
