Fortium at NAB 2017 - What We Have Planned and Where To Find Us

We hope you're enjoying your time at NAB, at the Las Vegas Convention Centre! Fortium are at the show, detailing how you can keep content secure through the next week with our range of both disc and file based security solutions. Our stand is in the South Upper Hall 11708CM, in the Connected Media IP section - do come and visit us if you are interested in keeping sensitive content and media secure.

Fortium are not just exhibiting at the show, though. We are involved in many more ways:

• You can find us at the Aspera Partner Village, stand SL8124. We'll be showing how our MediaSeal encryption while you work software works with Aspera FASPEX.
• We will be running a panel debate at the Connected Media IP Debate Theatre at 10.30am on Tuesday 25th April, on the subject of "Can security be frictionless in your production workflows?". We'll be joined by a field of experts within the Media and Entertainment industry to discuss the current trends and how best combat piracy. • Our CEO Mathew Gilliat-Smith will be taking part in a panel debate, again at the Connected Media IP Debate Theatre, on the subject "Camera to Consumer - Understanding How We Can Secure Content in the World of OTT". This takes place on Monday 24th April at 4.30pm.
• Mathew is also taking part in a panel debate in the Cyber Security Pavilion on Tuesday 25th April at 3.15pm. This is the first year that a dedicated Cybersecurity Pavilion has been setup at NAB, and we're grateful to our friends at CDSA and MESA for asking us to take part. The debate is entitled "The FYI on ROI for Security: Developing a Risk Management Strategy"

• We're security partners with Avid, who are world leaders in professional editing tools for the entertainment market. You can find them at stand SU902.
• We work closely with FileCatalyst, who offer one of the quickest fast file transfer systems in the world. You can find them at stand SL10716.
• As previously mentioned, we have a demo station with Aspera at stand SL8124. Aspera provide a wealth of innovative solutions in the file transfer market and have a client list beyond the entertainment industry.
• Telestream, who's Vantage transcoder works with MediaSeal encrypted files, are at stand SL3316. This is the first time encrypted files have been able to work effortlessly with a transcoder, with various outputs all exporting encrypted assets ready for different post-production vendors.
• One of the leading object storage providers for the entertainment industry is Object Matrix - we've worked closely with them in past few years to help understand how encrypted files can work with their object storage solutions. They are at SL5045.
